SIMMERING - Have you ever tried to "simmer" with a white gas/multi-fuel stove and found that you were cooking with a flame thrower? Here’s an easy fix. Turn your stove off first and let it cool. Then, reduce the pressure in your fuel tank. Re-light and start cooking. This will give you more control over your temperature.

Is it still Fall in Kentucky?
Technically it is still "Fall" at least until December 21st (The Winter Solstice). However, if you're asking about the Fall colors, they're now gone. Due to plenty of rainfall and warmer than usual temperatures late in the season however, the colors did hang on about a month longer than usual.
